Summary of Experience
Ms. Rubinfeld is an Environmental Scientist at EcolSciences and has 10 years of environmental experience. Ms. Rubinfeld has assisted in a range of projects related to ornithological surveys, threatened and endangered species surveys, herpetological surveys, botanical surveys (including on rare plants), macroinvertebrate surveys using rapid bioassessment protocols, invasive species surveys with a focus on Spotted Lanternfly, monitoring a head start project for Wood Turtle, site accessibility surveys, and public outreach relating to all the above. Ms. Rubinfeld has also worked on avian flu hot zones during a large disease outbreak. While working for the NJDEP, Ms. Rubinfeld developed a training document for managing licensed operator applications and corresponded with applicants about regulatory compliance. Additional experience includes the instruction of college-level ecology and biodiversity classes, and research experience from Montclair State University on habitat preferences of State-Threatened American Kestrel.
